The Columbus Consolidated Government’s Community Reinvestment Department will host two public meetings to discuss how federal funds were used during the past year to benefit the Columbus community through the HUD Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER).

All-Hands on Deck Campaign - The Mill District Inc.

City Officials will host a ‘Neighborhood Meeting’ on Tuesday, September 29th at 5:00pm at Harvest Coffee on 2nd Avenue as part of the ‘All Hands on Deck Campaign’ to clean up our neighborhoods and our city.  We must get a handle on the uncleanliness of our community, and it will take “all of our community leaders and residents to make this happen”. This is just the start of getting this done through collaboration and coordination.

GDOT to Host Public Open House for Williams Road Improvements

The Georgia Department of Transportation and Transportation Investment Act Program will host a Public Information Open House for proposed improvements to Williams Road (P.I. No. 0019520).

The open house will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 5–7 p.m. at Northside Recreation Center, 2010 American Way. The public may attend at any time during the event. No formal presentation will be given.
